Episode Notes
“The Bible was true in it’s inception, and is true today”
In a content-filled culture, we have a lot of opportunity to collect ideas.
1. The Bible is the authority:
2. The Bible is (and should be) at the center of regular Christian fellowship.
3. The Word of God is relevant for a lifetime
What if I proceeded in faith? Being sure of what I hope for and certain of what I do not see?
We can take the time to vet and evaluate our resources; hold them up to the Scriptures- to not just absorb someone else's insight, but gain our own.
Philippians 4:8-9 to carry with you as you go into whatever comes next for you today- “Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.”
