Episode Notes:
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom” - Viktor Frankl
"People want to be able to genuinely express what they think or feel from a place that does not feel out of control."
Scriptures:
2 Corinthians 10:5- "Take every thought captive"- this scripture is used out of context very often; this isn't about your emotions and thoughts.
We can respond based on our values instead of our initial, emotional reactions
Stewarding the Sacred Space:
Let the feelings talk:
Blame Game: Isaiah 58:9-10: “do away...with the pointing finger..."
Ephesians 4:15 - Speak the truth in love.
Psalm 16:8
