Episode Notes:
What do you do when life knocks you over and you’re dealing with issues you never thought in a million years you’d be dealing with?
What can we learn in our times of suffering?
“We are not necessarily doubting that God will do the best for us; we are wondering how painful the best will turn out to be.”
3. We can learn to be more compassionate and love unconditionally
Hosea 11:3-4
“It was I who taught Ephraim to walk, taking them by the arms; but they did not realize it was I who healed them. I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them.”
We don’t need to be glad or happy about the suffering in our lives, but we can rejoice in the faith lessons learned and find joy in the things that we might not have ever realized without the trials.
